Holy Cow. That was crazy good times. What a weekend/week/month/year et al.....
Thursday in Pendleton was so very loverly. Ken and all at The Great Pacific and really the whole town of Pendleton have a way of making you feel so good about simply doing what you do. It's an honor and a privilege to perform for such fantastic humans.
Go here:
http://greatpacific.biz/I'll write more about what an unbelievable slice of the world Pendleton, Oregon is very soon. Meanwhile, we move on to Friday.
A beautiful drive with my co-pilot
Dave Manion led us back home. Load-in and soundcheck with the lovely
Steve Gere at
The Bouquet in scenic downtown Boise....
Live at The Record Exchange at 6 with Tuck Nelson and James Dean Kindle & The Eastern Oregon Playboys. Tuck is an absolute powerhouse, a whirling dervish of a one-man band with a no-doubt stone KILLER voice. Watch out. He's coming. He's here.
I have an entire post (and more) on the way regarding JDK & TEOP but for now
chew on this:
and this.
Friday was incredible. Thanks to all who came out and listened and cheered and drank and laughed and talked and left. not a moment of your presence is taken for granted.
Last night we played at The Flying M Coffeegarage in Nampa with JDK & TEOP and a really great band from Long Beach CA called The Fling. Great tunes, killer tones, awesome 7"s, and ZINES(!!!) for sale. You know I'm a big zine hound. Well now you know....
Flying M is awesome.Find The Fling here and
here.
All in all a totally radical weekend and more! Lots more to write about soon. Check back.
