On The Trail of Moe Bandy....
Moe Bandy.
I've been smitten by the name since I was a boy.
we recently had a last minute Hootenanny at Pengilly's on Wednesday. A dang fine time was had by all, and Muchos Muchos Garcias go out to Jeremiah James for the generous opportunity he hath provided. For those not of sufficient fortune to be in attendance, fear not. The coming days offer many an opportunity to bask in the glory of the musical animal that I have stalked and killed myself!!! (I actually only helped a little bit.)
Bear witness:

MONDAY MADNESS (AKA BLUE MONDAY) T. Paul feat. Bob Nagel, Upright Bass @ Red Feather Lounge 9pm-midnite Coverless. Legendary Food & Drink.

PS: Pre-Summer Excitement! Now Hiring!
Wow. More awesomeness in store for this week. Let's take a peek, shall we?
TONIGHT! (Monday) @ Red Feather Lounge with Bernie Reilly on mandolin and vocals. 8 PM - 11 PM. Did you know the Red Feather took several awards in the most recent Martini Mix-Off? You should have. Did you know Mark Allen is the best bartender in Boise? It's true!!!
TOMORROW! (Tuesday) T. Paul Quartet @ Hijinx Comedy Club with Ryan Peckopening. Show starts at 930. 5$ cover, 21+. I'm fully stoked, both on playing a hot set with local legends Dave Manion, Bob Nagel and Blake Durst, and on the fact that comedy once again has a permanent home in Boise. We're probably going to play at around 1030 and we will be running a good chunk of everybody's favorite Boise release of 2009,House On Fire . Go here to see more about this show and all the other exciting things that are going on at HiJinx.
WEDNESDAY! (Wednesday) T.Paul with the aforementioned Bob Nagel on upright bass at Bungalow in scenic Hyde Park, Boise, Idaho. We play from 7 - 10 on the patio. Good times, great food and drink, stellar weather, unparalleled people-watching.....it's the Wednesday night you've always dreamed could be!!!!
FRIDAY! The lovely and talented Gizzard Stone (see above) is rocking Tom Grainey's upstairs. It's 21+ and there is probably a minimal cover. A small price to pay to see and be seen by the right people. We prolly rock 9 PM - 2 AM or something like that. Get bad.
And finally.... SUNDAY! I'm back home at Red Feather Lounge (see above) for Brunch tunes 11 AM - 2 PM. No cover. All ages. Bottomless mimosas. Mimosas are not all-ages. Don't be silly.
Meanwhile, i hope all of you are well. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that i have Thursday and Saturday off this week. If you have any ideas for a gig or bartending or perhaps some recreational activities like such as Wiffle Ball for those fine eves, let me know. I can be found here, here and here. Or you can dial me up via telephone. Talk soon. Thomas
PS- It's a little known fact that T.PaulCo is now hiring. We have an opening for a full-time guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and a bassist. They may in fact be the same person. All positions are paid. If you or someone you know is interested, inquire for details. Thanks.
