Singalongs LIVE in Boise!
On Friday, May 6th, 2016 (…the 14th anniversary of the release of my first solo album*), the day after releasing ‘Singalongs‘ to the Boise public at The Record Exchange… The crew and I (Bob, Todd, Eric & Melissa) traveled to Pendleton, Oregon to present the new album to our friends and fans in the 97801 (ZIPCODE). We had such a blast that we all thought we should bring the show back to the 208 (AREACODE).
Enter MING Studios. I had entered MING Studios a few times. I’ve seen art, theater, music and more inside the walls of this previously unnoticed industrial space at 6th & Myrtle. I even managed to perform there once during my all-too-brief stint in the 208 Ensemble. It’s a gem and a valuable community resource. And we knew we needed a very special place to present ‘Singalongs’ in full technicolor, no workaday pub or bar would do. It had to be a theater or arts space. I approached MING and they were very amenable. Tremendous humans.
So won’t you join us for SINGALONGS in its full flower? I’ll open the show with a bit of a short surprise solo set and the band & I will close out the night with a set of my forgotten ‘greatest hits’ and some ‘deep cuts’ from albums past.
A splendid time will be had by all, and I promise you’ll be home in time for that late night talk show that helps to round out the day so well… Thanks. See you at MING.

(*A Footnote To History™: On May 6, 2002 I released “Kansas, She Said…”, a collection of random musical ideas and songs recorded in various environs and 4-tracks around Idaho. Its first run of 50 copies went pretty quick, and it enjoyed a 2nd pressing. A long awaited repress has never occurred, although bootlegs are being passed around, mostly by me haha…)
