NEXT UP: I’m honored to be asked to play a very special event for a wonderful cause NEXT MONTH at The Riverside Hotel‘s venerable listening venue, The Sapphire Room… Thomas Paul Band will be featured along with some of our favorite other Boise artists and friends, including A.K.A. Belle, Eilen Jewell and Ryan Bayne. Join us April 18 for a full evening of fine food, swell drinx and great music for a great cause. FB EVENT: click here
THE CAUSE: Wild Love Preserve. Find out more at: http://www.wildlovepreserve.org/
See you there…
WHAT ELSE IS UP:
1. TREEFORT: Although Thomas Paul isn’t playing this year, I am still performing at Boise’s ever-present Treefort Music Fest, as lead guitarist in the 90s-throwback eL Dopamine. Join us FRIDAY MAR 23 at Neurolux. 530pm. 21+… Star-studded lineup of Boise and Northwest legends. FB EVENT: click here
2. SPOTIFY: Am I on Spotify? Yes. And iTunes/Apple Music. And Bandcamp. And. And. And. But mostly y’all are asking about Spotify. If you’re on there, add my albums to all of your playlists and play your favorite songs a million times. Check it out:
3. LOST ALBUM: Work has re-commenced on the legendary “lost album”. Originally began in Spring 2013, this album has been shelved several times for many reasons, some of them physical, some of them mental, some of them financial, all of them PERSONAL. This album contains my most important work to date but has been passed by at different times by the albums that later became Interference and Singalongs. Watch for big news later this year about this once-dead batch of songs recently revived and resuscitated and given new life. Thanks to AUDIO LAB RECORDING STUDIOS for dealing with me, which is not easy. They are loves.
THANK YOU ALL NOW AND FOREVER FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF MUSIC AND THE ARTS AND MY WORK. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES.
Thank all who came out to High Note Cafe last week. It was good to get back out and play a solo set after a few months in reclusion… And it was so great to hear Harvey & Deanne Krishna and Edward S. Kildow. We had a great time. Good food, good drink, good times down in Old Boise.
The comeback trail continues! I’m performing a solo unplugged acoustic set with Bob (upright bass) and Eric (tenor sax) LIVE at Liquid Laughs. We are the opening performers for Goodness Gracious, a monthly comedy benefit show. Each month a different organization is chosen to receive the rewards of the show. Great times and lots of laughs, plus a little music beforehand at 730pm. More info at:

MING Studios Sessions showcase musicians who perform live, intimate, engaging sets. http://www.mingstudios.org/
Join Thomas Paul and Friends as they present a selection of songs from his entire discography, focusing on lesser-performed deep cuts and showcasing new material as well…
The show will begin with a set from emerging Boise folk artist Ana Lete.
(PRONOUNCED: On-uh Let-uh)
Based out of Boise, ID, Ana Lete is an artist to watch out for. Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter, she creates music that is authentic, emotive, and surreal. In her songs, Lete isn’t afraid to sing her truths and push the musical envelope.
Best way to guarantee entry to shows at the Boise Contemporary Theater during Treefort Music Fest is to have a festival wristband and arrive early. Limited number of single show tickets ($20) may be available at the door for shows if there is room once wristband holders enter.
Beautiful day! Empirically, this is the best time of the year.
Meanwhile, I’m teaching up a storm. Inquire for details.
Exciting show at Visual Arts Collective on November 12 as part of New Transit… And SUN NOV 13, I’m opening for a favorite songwriter from the 90s, Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) as part of the Andy Byron’s Americana Music Series… INFO HERE: http://bit.ly/2cI9ijI
