HAPPY “One week until CD Release!” Day!
There’s a new track, “Look!” up and available over at:
As you can tell from the subject line, it’s an exciting time around here! So exciting that I haven’t had a chance until now to tell you how excited I am… MUCHLY EXCITE… VERY WOW…
1. First of all, Yours, Truly (and his band of Merry Humans) was chosen to perform at Boise’s ever-expanding 5-day Universe of Discovery,
TREEFORT MUSIC FEST!
As if that weren’t awesome enough, we’ll be showcasing our new material (and a special tribute to a fallen comrade) ON THE MAIN STAGE… I know… Me neither… I know… So catch me and my crew doing what we do:
SUNDAY, MARCH 27th (Happy Easter) at 1pm at the Main Stage!
2. That’s right! It’s true. All of it. The internet speculation, the pundits shouting to be heard over themselves, it’s all true…
My NEW ALBUM drops THURSDAY MAY 5th at 6pm with an in-store performance at Downtown Boise‘s venerated temple of worship, The Record Exchange…
WEEKEND CELEBRATION (and LIVE performances) TO FOLLOW:
FRI MAY 6th: Eastern Oregon TBA
SAT MAY 7th: Eastern Oregon TBA
SUN MAY 8th: Boise TBA
Save the dates!
Thanks for listening… Be seeing you!
It’s quiet on the outside at TPaulCo., but rest assured that inside,
OUR TOP PEOPLE

genre-confused singer-songwriter music
in 2016 and beyond.
– Mixing the Modern Hotel and Bar ModernArt2015 Recording Sessions at Mixed Metaphor Recording Services for a release on, you guessed it, #ModernArt2016. Featuring talented members of: Ned Evett Band, Solomon’s Hollow, Matt Hopper & The Roman Candles, Frim Fram 4, and more…
– Mixing an as of yet untitled full-length album of songs recorded at Audio Lab Recording Studios for what will hopefully be a Spring 2016 release. This album features extensive contributions from members of Boise Cello Collective, Boise Philharmonic and other fantastic musicians who give of their talent.

I was pleased and honored to teach at the 10th Annual Pendleton Rock Camp For Teens last week… It’s my 8th year on faculty, and it’s a huge joy to be there.
This year we added a new feature. As an offshoot of the Journalism program run by
and Jim Sandberg (XRAY.FM),
we expanded to include podcasting.
Journalism team kids created and assembled 2 episodes of the podcast which can be found either through the umbrella of Pendleton’s newspaper, The East Oregonian, or through a Soundcloud page we set up for the Camp itself.
OR here: https://soundcloud.com/rockrollcampx
Or search ‘EO Audio’ through iTunes, Downcast, Stitcher, or your favorite podcast APP. Subscribe to EO Audio to keep up with goings on in the 97801.
Podcasting and radio are 2 of my great peripheral loves, existing alongside and in congruence with music, and I hope you enjoy these podcasts as much as we at Rock Camp X enjoyed making them.
SPECIAL THANKS TO Tim Trainor and JD Kindle at The East Oregonian, and Bonnie, Kate, Roberta and JD Smith at the Pendleton Center For The Arts and of course, The Godfather, Peter Walters, the founder of Pendleton Rock Camp… Thanks to all the other Rock Camp Counselors as well…
Look at this:
Neat-o, huh? I think so also.
“Interference” is back in stock at The Record Exchange, after nearly selling out of the first run… Thanks everyone for checking out the EP, the support has been phenomenal. Keep telling your friends and your families and your coworkers and your enemies and your internet friends and your frenemies and your bridge club pals and your fantasy football league and your spousal unit…
IT’S WORKING! Feedback on the EP has been tremendous.
We made the “TOP 10 Best Sellers” list at the record store several times and very nearly cracked the “Best Local Releases of 2015, so far…” list by Ben Schultz of the Boise Weekly… Geez I even put your name on the album, Ben, what more do you want? Make an even better album? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED, GOOD SIR.
If you ain’t got a copy of iNTeRFeReNCe yet, may I recommend seeing the fine folx at Record Exchange? At $5.99, it’s easily your BEST BARGAIN.
Sure, I have them with me for sale at shows, gigs, concerts, etc. Usually have one in my purse, too.
Sure, you can send me $6-10 dollars via cash, check or paypal and I’ll mail you a CD copy or digital copy or both.
Sure, you can buy a digital copy at CD Baby by going here: www.cdbaby.com/cd/thomaspaul22
But why not swing by The Record Exchange and grab one, have a tea/coffee/snack, grab a gift for someone, and take a gander at other fantastic new Idaho releases like Amuma Says No, Ancient Psychic, Hillfolk Noir, Sun Blood Stories, Brett Netson / Snakes and many other local awesomes… DO IT.
In early July, I was honored to be interviewed in early July by James Kindle, an Arts & Culture Correspondent for the East Oregonian, the newspaper based in Pendleton, Oregon (my home away from home)… READ THE INTERVIEW by clicking: HERE
Also, the interview was made into podcast form: Check out “EO AUDIO” on your favorite podcast app (mine is called “Downcast”) or search for the same on Ye Olde iTunes.
Thanks for listening. reading and just generally being.

Just wanted to say a quick HELLO while I’m out here on the open road. The American road. “The West”… “The biggest direction of all…” according to one of my heroes, Mr. Bruce McCulloch (of Kids In The Hall fame)…
So, the Interference EP, eh? Yeah. That’s right. Interference. It’s out. Feels good to say that…
You might have it by now, you might not.
EITHER WAY: If you’re near the 208, visit The Record Exchange in beautiful downtown Boise. If you’re not near the 208, they’ll even send you a real live CD in the mail, if you want.
OR: Talk to me. I’ll even respond. I might even send you a real live CD. In the mail. If you want.
OR: If you like your artifacts a little less concrete…
The Record Exchange is your best bargain, and it’s not even particularly close.
<dead air while you make plans to go to The Record Exchange>
But TP! What about all the shows you’ve played? Aren’t you on tour?
Yes I am. Well, I was. See I’m on a special high-level security clearance fact-finding mission. Super hush-hush. One of Gordon Cole’s “Blue Rose” cases. Here now to tell us more about that are David Lynch, Chris Isaak and Kiefer Sutherland:
Now that we’ve got that squared away, YES. Yes I was on tour. It was a gas. Great times with James Dean Kindle and The Eastern Oregon Playboys, Lincoln Barr from Red Jacket Mine, Aaron Mark Brown and his crack staff of musical magicians, and so many more good people. Then I went out scouting future gigs in Northern California. Now I’m headed back.
Many huge things on the horizon and many great big shows to announce but… not right now, Dearly Dears…
If you haven’t heard from me by Monday, assume I’m being held hostage at a High Desert Biker Meth Lab and SEND HELP.
Meantime, go pick up Interference, right?
Here have a listen to “Unwind”: HERE
